Hi, I’m Lia.
I write for women who are carrying more than most people see, especially single mothers navigating life, faith, healing, and purpose one day at a time.
Although I am now married and caring for a blended family (you’ll hear more in my posts), the journey of single motherhood remains deeply personal to me. I spent many years walking that road myself. I know the weight of having to be strong when you are tired, the pressure of making decisions alone, and the quiet ache of trying to care for everyone else while wondering who is caring for you.
That part of my story did not leave me. It shaped me.
It taught me how to lean on God in uncertain seasons. It taught me how to keep going when life did not look the way I thought it would. It taught me that healing is rarely quick, motherhood is rarely simple, and purpose is often discovered in the very places where life has stretched you the most.
This Is Lia was created from that place.
Not from having all the answers, but from having lived enough to know that honesty matters, grace matters, and God is still present in unfinished stories. I write from experience, reflection, and faith, with the hope of offering encouragement that is both truthful and tender.
Here, I share reflections on faith, healing, motherhood, identity, and purpose. My heart is to create a space where women feel seen, understood, and reminded that their story is not over. Whether you are in a season of single motherhood, rebuilding after disappointment, learning to trust God again, or simply trying to find your footing, I want these words to meet you with compassion and hope.
I do not write from a place of perfection. I write from a place of process. From lessons learned through hardship, from prayers prayed in private, and from the quiet work of becoming.
If you are in a season that feels heavy, uncertain, or unfinished, I want you to know this: you are not behind, not forgotten, and not disqualified. God still works in the middle of real life. He still restores. He still leads. And He still brings beauty out of stories that felt broken.
Welcome to This is Lia.
